Power2Change: Mission Energy Transition

An exhibition on the future of our energy supply

Power2Change: Mission Energy Transition

An exhibition on the future of our energy supply

Could we manufacture socks from CO₂ in the future? Or raw materials for medicines? Will lorries, ships and planes soon be refuelling with hydrogen or e-fuels? The energy transition is the key to achieving a climate-neutral future without oil and gas. Researchers are developing new concepts and technologies for this transition, particularly in industry.

At the exhibition, you can learn about the challenges and solutions, and discover research projects that could provide a secure, affordable and climate-neutral supply of energy and raw materials.

Get Involved and Explore

Explore exhibits showcasing solutions to the challenges of the energy transition straight from the research sector. At interactive stations, you can find out more about exciting research projects. In videos, scientists will offer insights into their daily research work. Join us on #MissionEnergiewende!

Your Path to the Energy Transition

What are the ways to achieve climate neutrality in Germany? Would you support changing our consumer behaviour, relying on energy imports or expanding renewable energies? What impact do your decisions have? At the Power2Change exhibition, we look forward to finding out what you think about the energy transformation. Take the test: What kind of energy transition type are you?

The exhibition was developed by the LWL-Industriemuseum, Westfälisches Landesmuseum für Industriekultur (Westphalian State Museum of Industrial Culture), and the Klimahaus® Bremerhaven (Climate House Bremerhaven). The collaborative project is funded by the Bundesministerium für Forschung, Technologie und Raumfahrt (Federal Ministry for Research, Technology, and Space). It is a partner of the Wissenschaftsjahres 2025 – Zukunftsenergie (Science Year 2025 – Future Energy).
