Drive-in movie to kick things off - experience a cult film in a classic car
To kick off the 10th classic car rally, all visitors can look forward to a very special highlight: on Friday evening, the evening before the rally, we invite you to a drive-in movie in the courtyard of the phanTECHNIKUM. In keeping with the occasion, drivers can enjoy the cult film “The Blues Brothers” in style from their own classic car - shown on a large LED screen, with sound directly via the car radio. Cinema becomes a journey through time!
Participation is uncomplicated: The standard ticket for one car including two people costs 20 euros. Each additional person in the car pays just 5 euros, and children and young people under 12 years of age can enter free of charge. Please note: Our car spaces are limited, so be sure to reserve a space in advance. If you would like to come without a car, you can secure a picnic spot for 5 euros per person. We also recommend booking in advance.
The movie is rated 12 and up (FSK 12). There are deliberately no premium seats or additional fees for larger vehicles (“XXL's”) - the focus is on the shared film experience and the joy of classic cars. And since every viewer should have the chance of a good and unobstructed view, we ask for details of the vehicle when registering.
Freshly prepared popcorn, snacks and cool drinks from Coney's provide the perfect ambience. Whether you are a participant in the rally, a classic car fan or a movie lover - this experience is the perfect start to a whole weekend full of motor culture, music and nostalgia. Arrival is possible from 6 pm, the movie starts at 6:30 pm.
Registration at buchen@phantechnikum.de (only while places last)
Movie of the night
The Blues Brothers - cult, chaos and plenty of soul
The Blues Brothers (USA, 1980) is a classic film full of music, humor and action. It centers on brothers Jake and Elwood Blues, played by John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd, who are on a mission after Jake's release from prison: They want to save the orphanage where they grew up - and get their old band back together to do it.
The movie is a wild road trip with legendary chases, bizarre encounters and unforgettable live music. Singers such as Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, James Brown and Cab Calloway provide the unmistakable soul soundtrack. The Blues Brothers is a must-see for film buffs and music lovers - and a very special cinematic experience in the midst of classic cars.
