Storytelling salon at the phanTECHNIKUM

Based on the current special exhibition “Packsack, Deadwood, Hummingbird - 70 Years of Folding Boats from Wismar”, we invite interested visitors to a moderated storytelling salon at phanTECHNIKUM on 22.11.2024 from 18:00.

Biographies & Experiences

The format of the storytelling salon was developed by the Berlin publisher Rohnstock Biografien and enables an intensive exchange of experiences. In contrast to traditional lecture formats, 10-12 participants share their individual biographies, experiences and perspectives. Unlike in talk show formats, each guest is given the same fixed time to tell their story. At the end of the storytelling session, the salon is opened up for questions and comments from both inside and outside.

The aim is to take an in-depth look at one's own biography in relation to the set topic. In 2022, a storytelling salon was held at the phanTECHNIKUM for the first time. With the focus on the current topic of folding boats, this format will now take place again in an expanded setting.
