International Museum Day
On May 18, we are celebrating International Museum Day, a globally important day on which museums open their doors to promote access to culture, education and social work. Under the motto “#Depottreasures”, we will show you the diversity of our collection in a special guided tour and offer a varied program for young and old. We cordially invite you to discover our museum on this special day with free admission!
Take the opportunity to experience our museum in a completely new way - whether with exciting guided tours, fascinating experiments or creative workshops. We look forward to your visit!

Laboratory demonstration
Experience exciting demonstrations in our in-house laboratory, where you can witness fascinating experiments and scientific phenomena up close. Our experts will guide you through the world of physics, chemistry and technology and show you how exciting discoveries are made. Join us and be inspired by the fascination of science!
1€ per person plus admission. Places are limited.

Special tour computer and radio technology
Our curators will guide you through the world of radio and computer technology. Gain in-depth insights into exciting historical developments and technical milestones. The computer and radio collection is part of the collection, but not of the regular permanent exhibition, so the special tour gives you a glimpse behind the scenes.
1€ per person plus admission. Places are limited.

Workshop 3D-Print
We are once again opening our museum workshop and letting you become inventors. In our 3D printing workshop, you can get creative and freely model objects that will then be printed out. You'll learn about the laws of physics and technical processes in a fun and playful way.
6€ per person plus admission. Places are limited.

“The Adventures of Time Traveler Puck”
The Neuburg designer and author Michael Rogge invites you to a reading on International Museum Day. In his book, he poses the question: What would happen if we actually met a person from the future? And how could he get home again? These central questions are at the heart of his children's book, which is fascinating for both young and older readers.
