International Museum Day

Centred around the theme "Museums Connecting in a Divided World"—the 2026 call to action by ICOM (International Council of Museums)—we are delighted to be part of this global event!

Join us in celebrating the rich diversity of the museum landscape. To mark the occasion, the phanTECHNIKUM will be open on a donation basis (pay-what-you-wish). Reflecting this year's theme, our programme offers a unique look at the work going on behind the scenes while shining a spotlight on our key exhibitions.

A special focus will be placed on the life of wireless operator Noor Inayat Khan. Her courage and resolve within the resistance against National Socialism serve as a powerful example of someone who actively challenged a "divided world."
