International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day – Guided Spotlight Tours and Free Entry for Girls and Women

Who says technology is only for men? We’re here to bust that stereotype! On International Women’s Day, we’ll explore together how female inventors have changed our world. Join us for the special tour “Women in Technology” (in German), where we put the spotlight on the inventions of pioneering women who have often remained in the shadows of the big names. And the best part: entry is free all day for girls and women!

Spotlight Tour: "Women in Technology"
Alban, Behm, and of course Lilienthal – all great inventors and pioneers in the history of technology, all with roots in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, and all men. But what about the women? Often, it was women who provided the real innovative power in many fields. Yet too often their achievements were overlooked or claimed by men, leaving their contributions in the shadows. We’ll show you just how diverse the spirit of invention really is, paying tribute to all female inventors of the past, present, and future.

Cost: €1 per person (plus admission)
