Reading aloud on November 15

Reading aloud forms the basis for many skills that children and adults need in life. It helps them to learn to read more easily, strengthens their empathy, gives them a glimpse into other worlds, stimulates their imagination and encourages them to interact with others. In short: reading aloud lays the foundation for a successful future and an understanding relationship with others. This year's motto is therefore: “Reading aloud creates the future”.

This year's Read Aloud Day will take place on 15.11.2024. On this nationwide day of action, we invite daycare groups to read aloud at phanTECHNIKUM. “Reading aloud creates the future” is the motto for 2024 and in this spirit we would also like to participate in order to proactively support children in their development. Each reading session lasts around 30-45 minutes and is free of charge. Afterwards, the groups are free to explore the museum.
